About us

This website is operated by Shacari Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15052453, registered office Unit 3, Gateway 12 Business Park, Davy Way, Hardwicke, Gloucester, GL2 2BY. You can reach us at enquiries@shacari.co.uk. By placing an order through this store you agree to these terms.

Products and orders

Our products are made to order in the colour, size and finish you select at checkout. We take care to show colours accurately, but screens vary and slight variation between what you see and the finished linen is normal and not a fault. Ordering a sample is the best way to confirm a colour before you buy.

Submitting your order does not mean we have accepted it. Payment is taken at checkout, and a legally binding contract comes into existence only when we send you order confirmation by email. If we can't fulfil an order — for example, a fabric colour is discontinued by our mill, a pricing error, or an area we can't deliver to — we'll contact you and give a full refund.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). Shacari Ltd is not currently VAT-registered, so no VAT is charged on your order. Delivery costs are shown separately at checkout and are not included in the product price. Payment is taken in full at checkout. Bespoke tablecloths are priced by size (area in square metres × the current rate); samples are priced as shown at checkout.

Returns

Returns and refunds are covered by our Return & refund policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: because our goods are made to order we cannot accept returns or cancellations for change of mind, but your rights in respect of faulty or misdescribed goods are unaffected.

Delivery

Delivery is covered by our Shipping policy, which forms part of these terms. Goods are held at your own risk once delivered to the address you specified.

Events beyond our control

We are not liable for delays or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, and we may cancel and fully refund an order affected by such an event.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer, or our liability for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when you placed your order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by English law, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
