Friends

Caroline and Sharon have been good friends and bridge partners for many years. That’s Sharon in the white top, thanking Carrie for the dummy… Oh well. We’ve all been there.

Caroline

Caroline moved to Gloucestershire from South Africa in 2009 with her husband and their three young daughters. She and her husband are well-known locally for their hospitality, although in an effort to preserve their African cultural heritage, they like to cook their meals outdoors eleven months of the year. When her husband complained that Caroline was spending too much time playing bridge, she decided to broaden her interests, and started teaching bridge as well.

Sharon

Sharon is a Londoner by background who moved to the Cotswolds in 2002. She has been married for thirty years and has two daughters. She plays tennis and padel whenever she can, and is an ardent supporter of Gloucester Rugby Cub, Ronnie O’Sullivan and splinter bids.
